Mazarrón Mayor, Ginés Campillo, presented yesterday together with the council of Culture, Tourism and Education, María Celeste Soria, the programming of the Cultural Sample of Easter that has been recovered this year by the Town Hall of  Mazarrón to enlarge the acts that wil be carried out with occasion of these dates. For Ginés Campillo “to have recovered this programme is to bet for the culture, but not only that; also we have made it because is our duty  to continue selling Mazarrón and give increasing importance to our Easter”.

The acts were explainded by María Celeste Soria, who announced that the programme starts this Saturday 17 March in  San José Church of  Mazarrón Port with the  performance of the polyphonic choir “Santa Cecilia” of Lorca. This choir will carry out a concert of sacred music from 9 p.m. The next programmed performance will be on Friday 23 March when the mentioned church of Mazarrón  Port receives in this occasion the representation of the sacramental by the group  “Villa de Aljucer” of Murcia. It will be as well from 9 p.m.

On Saturday 24 March will be the performance of  “Orfeus” choir of Murcia in the Purísima (Pure) sanctuary of Mazarrón from 9 p.m., which will have a varied repertoire that will play from the most traditional music until the góspel. Finally the Sanctuary of the Patron  will recreive from the same time the concert of sacred music that will play the choir “Ars Antiqua” of  Torre Pacheco on Thursday 29 March. “The idea is that in coming years, and if the economic situation permits, we can extend this programme that had to be recovered”, has noted  Ginés Campillo.

The Easter of the town will have with other acts as for example the presentation of the maganize of the Easter of Mazarrón this Friday 17 March from 8 p.m. in the parish center. During this act also will know to the town-crier of the year and the decision of the contest  of lenten short story. The proclamation and the designation of nazarene of the year in Mazarrón will be on Satuarday 31 March in the Purísima Sanctuary also from 8 p.m.

In Mazarrón Port the proclamation will be read by the director of CEIP Bahía, Salvador Ardil moreno, on 30 March from 8 p.m. in  San José Church. During the act will name honor nazarene to Francisco Alcázar Martínez and the attendees can enjoy of the performance of Juan Pinilla who will interpret some saetas (andalusian spiritual song). For the occasion has been edited some pockets programs in english and in spanish.
