LOCAL POLICE WILL INTENSIFY THE SURVEILLANCE TO COMPLY WITH THE STATE OF ALARM RULES

The freedom of movement of residents has been restricted for 15 days by ruling of the Government of Spain

Mazarrón's Local Police Force will intensify surveillance in efforts to comply with the state of alarm regulations, both with regard to establishments to which Royal Decree 463/2020 of the Government of Spain does not allow opening, as about those citizens who ignore the obligation of home isolation.

During yesterday's shift, the Local Police had to punish various individuals who showed repeated behavior of disobedience to the agents, who carried out an information campaign through the streets of the municipality. The Local Police carried out this information work to avoid the imposition of fines in the coming days, but they found some cases of disobedience in which the police officers were ignored and they had to be fined.

This weekend the Government of Spain decreed a state of alarm in the country, implementing a series of measures in order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.  The main measure has been the restriction of movements of citizens throughout the Spanish territory, who have the obligation to stay at home and not leave, with the exception of obtaining basic needs during an extendable period of 15 days.
