IT IS EXTENDED THE TERM UNTIL 20 JULY TO SET THE DIRECT DEBIT OF THE IBI TAX GETTING A 5% OF BONIFICATION

The direct debits can be done through www.mazarron.es and in the Municipal Tax Office

The Council for Tax Department of the Town Hall of Mazarrón has extended the term until 20th July so that citizens can pay by direct debit the receipts of some municipal regular taxes through their banks, as well as cancel or change bank details that the town hall possesses. Among them, we find the property tax (IBI) getting a 5% those people who pay by direct debit before the end of term.

As the councilor of tax department, Andrés Valera, has explained, "this initiative is aimed so that the citizens who pay by direct debit their property tax  (IBI) benefit of a  5% bonification in the  payment of this tax provided that they are up to date with their tax obligations". Those people who paid by direct debit in previous years, will receive the bonus automatically in their receipts.

To do this, the interested person can arrange the direct debit clicking the banner 'Domiciliar IBI', that is at the end of the column of the right on the home page of www.mazarron.es, and following a few simple steps; or submitting at the Municipal Tax the application  form of direct debit which you can find in the link http://www.mazarron.es/es/hacienda/tramites-y-servicios/. The form can be also sent by fax to 968 33 31 33 or, once scanned, to the email address domiciliaciones@mazarron.es.

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, has highlighted that "some people regretted the fact that they could not arrange the direct debit during the computer process which was opened last April. Therefore, we give again the chance to our neighbours that they can benefit from a discount of 5% in the next IBI receipt, speeding in this way the payment for coming years", has stated the mayor.
