The council of Commerce of the Town Hall of Mazarrón wants to do a call to the citizens so they don´t suffer possible frauds in regard to the maintenance service of gas facilities as “has been detected the presence of people that go to the private homes of the neighbours to make revisions of gas that has not been scheduled from the Autonomous Community and  therefore that people should not be attended”, as has stated the responsible of the area, Isidro Coy.

The council has stated that “when someone go to one house arguing  that is going to make the official gas revision we must ask the documents of the Industry counseling of the Autonomous Community that certifies that the revision is authorized. In this way we will avoid a possible fraud”. Coy has highlighted that these people  “go often to houses where live seniors or old people that are more vulnerable”, therefore he ask to the neighbors that are careful of the old people so they don´t suffer these frauds.

The council requests that “if some citizen looks some suspicious behavior of any peson that may be providing this service of irregular manner, please contact with the police through the telephone 112”. Isidro Coy has stated that  “we must all try to finish with this kind of practices as, besides being unofficial revisions, they have a cost that  doesn´t correspond with the real but much more”.
