Mazarron Town Hall monitors the wellbeing of Ukrainians in the municipality

Those who arrived in Mazarrón from the Ukraine are adapting quickly and positively to life in the Costa Cálida

The Town Hall of Mazarrón held a meeting last week with the Ukrainian families who have arrived in the municipality since the start of the conflict in their home country with the aim of monitoring their situation, the help they are receiving, the education of the children and the level of healthcare being provided to them.

Among those present were also some of those who have been involved in helping the Ukrainians first hand, including members of Cruz Roja Mazarrón and the council Social Services department.

Since they arrived it is worth highlighting the extent to which those fleeing the horrors of war have collaborated in the life of Mazarrón, volunteering their services in workshops, fiestas and other activities, and councillor Miguel Ángel Peña underlined the speed with which they have adapted to living in south-eastern Spain.
