The 11th edition of the Mazarrón national dog show is being held on June 3 in the Plaza de las Comunidades Autónomas in Puerto de Mazarrón, with competitors vying to notch up points in the Spanish national rankings as the event returns for another year.

Hundreds of show dogs will be taking part, both from Spain and from abroad, as the competition begins at 18.00 by the new marina in Puerto de Mazarrón. Great care is taken to ensure that the animals are safe and secure, and the evening start is to avoid them being uncomfortable in the midday sun.

Spectators are welcome to attend the event, which has proved extremely popular in recent years.
