Around hundred people gathered yesterday in the urbanization of Camposol to run ‘For the Life’, slogan of the race organized by the association ‘MABS’. This organization, composed mainly by foreign residents, helps people that suffer cancer and their family. The race held yesterday was precisely an initiative to raise funds for the association.

To the event attended the councilor for Sports of the Town Hall of Mazarrón, Andrés Valera, who with representatives of ‘MABS’ gave the thropies to who crossed the finish line in the first place, and also the medals and T-shirts that received all the participants, who contributed 5 euros in concept of registration. Also, were many who, although didn´t run in the race that had the collaboration of the Town Hall, also made a donation.

From ‘MABS’, thanked to the councilor for Sports the collaboration of the Town Hall of Mazarrón, specially to the Local Police, and Red Cross Mazarrón, who were controlling that the race was developed with normality and without  incidents. On the other hand, the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, has thanked the work of  ‘MABS’ with the cancer patients, as “it is other example of the solidarity character that show the foreign residents who continuously help to the most needy”.
