EL ALAMILLO, EL PUERTO, LA REYA AND NARES HAS ALREADY ITS BLUE FLAGS

The presence of these rewards in the beaches has been duplicated thanks to the effort of the Town Hall

This morning the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, with the deputy Mayor of town planning, Francisco García, and the councils Magdalena Méndez, María Martínez, José Gómez and Miguel Mª García; have proceeded to raise the 4 blue flags that this year the Association of Environmental Education and of the Consumer (ADEAC) has given to the beaches of Alamillo, El Puerto, La Reya and Nares. These four  distinctions mean that the town has doubled the presence of these flags in its coast. Specifically, the beaches of Alamillo and El Puerto have been added to the revalidated by La Reya and Nares.

For the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, “this increase in the achievement of these rewards is due, mainly, to the works that we are carrying out during the whole year for an optimal maintenance of ours beaches”. The objective of this “effort by the town hall, is none other than the achievement of more flags of the `Q` of Tourism Quality  for our coast. We hope that the next year the work that led us to get these blue flags leads in the achievement of new flags `Q` that are added to the flags that already wave in the beaches of Rihuete and Castellar”, has highlighted the Mayor.

For that the Town Hall has improved the services in the beaches as, for example, lengthening the  runways of access existing nearly to the shore. This measure has  been an improvement for the disabled citizens or for the fathers or mothers that go with their young children to the beach with the buggy. The extension of the bins and  paper bins in the area of coast is other example of this bet  for the excellence in the quality of the services, to which also adds a clear bet for the security  with the extension of the times of first aid posts that, for first time, has started to give service from the first day of June.

As the Deputy Mayor of Town Planning and council of Infrastructure has wanted to highlight, Francisco García, “are many councils that work for getting these distinctions  as Tourim, Citizen Safety and Civil Protection, Environment or Management of Urban public services; so these flags are a clear example of the good work that the current Government team is carrying out to get the successes that place to Mazarrón as one of the main and best tourist destinations in the Murcia Region”. It is, ultimately, to get a tourist excellence for Mazarrón in areas so important such as the Services, the Leisure or the Environment.
